HANGZHOU, China /September 26, 2016 A delegation of 12 from Leeds City Region visited Dahua Technology CO., Ltd. in June to seek cooperation in trade, overseas investment, education and travel. Michael Chen, VP and General Manager of Dahua Overseas Business hosted the reception.

LEP is the commercial department of the government, responsible for business activities not only in Leeds, but also in bigger Leeds City Region. The delegation’s visit to China this time is to establish linkages between itself and Chinese companies, to offer them business opportunities, business environment, consult and good connections in England, especially in Leeds City Region.

Michael Chen warmly welcomed the delegation led by David Shepherd, and presented to them Dahua’s overseas business development. Dahua had been gaining customers’ preference and trust by offering products of advanced technology and good price performance, accompanied by a system of efficient local services. This is driven by the vision of our chairmen - Mr. Liquan Fu, who emphasizes on Dahua’s technical engineering capabilities, quality control and post-sales service system. The delegation was greatly impressed by this new concept of “Made in China”.

The two groups shared opinions on topics like international marketing strategy, intelligent traffic management and local talent development. Michael Chen said that Dahua had gathered rich experience not only in video surveillance industry, but also in advanced applications like intelligent robot and machine vision. Dahua will continue to expand our investment in overseas market, follow “The Belt and Road Initiative” and actively participate in overseas safe city programs. So far, Dahua had participated in promoting PPP and BOT programs in over 10 countries. Michael Chen also mentioned that Dahua was sincere about bringing in international talents to the companys, and that we should enhance our interaction with Leeds University Business School to present the career opportunity with Dahua overseas business.

David Shepherd said that the delegation activity was a part of England Promoting Campaign initiated by the British Prime Minister to develop trading partnership with China. Leeds, being the 2nd strongest economy in England and sister city of Hangzhou, its resource in education, environment and investment matches with Hangzhou. Visiting Dahua has deepened their understanding of Dahua, and they were looking forward to establishing new partnership with Dahua in trade and investment.
